Fountain Life vs. Cenegenics vs. physician-supervised coaching: which fits you?

Fountain Life sells an annual imaging-and-genomics membership at its centers. Cenegenics sells physician-led age management with quarterly labs and hormones where indicated. Physician-supervised coaching, such as Executive Health Edge, sells a year of daily coached execution with a physician behind the coach. A factual three-way comparison from each company's own website, October 2026.

Short answer

Fountain Life is diagnostics-first, an annual day of full-body MRI, coronary CT angiography, genome sequencing and a 100+ marker panel at its centers; Cenegenics is medicine-first, a physician-led age-management program with an in-center assessment, quarterly labs and hormone therapy where clinically indicated; and physician-supervised coaching, such as Executive Health Edge, is execution-first, with one dedicated coach running training, nutrition, sleep and recovery every day for twelve months against an 80+ biomarker panel and a program physician behind the coach for anything medical.

Fountain Life tells you what is in your body. Cenegenics puts a physician in charge of managing it. Physician-supervised coaching holds you to a daily standard for a year and keeps a physician behind the coach. Pick by the problem you actually have: no baseline, a medical question, or a plan you are not executing.

Three models, three different purchases

All three serve high-performing men in their 40s, 50s and 60s, and all three start with a large blood panel. After that they buy different things.

Fountain Life is diagnostics-first. According to its memberships page as of October 2026, its CORE, APEX and APEX Family memberships include, once a year, a full-body and brain MRI, coronary CT angiography, a low-dose lung CT, whole genome sequencing, epigenetic biological age, a 100+ marker blood panel and a DEXA scan, with a longevity physician and care team. Restorative therapeutics are offered to APEX members at its Naples, Florida center. Prices are not published.

Cenegenics is medicine-first. According to its FAQ as of October 2026, it starts with a 4 to 6 hour Performance Health Assessment at one of its centers (DEXA, VO2 max, carotid artery testing, a physician consultation of about two hours), monitors 270+ blood biomarkers over time, and runs an ongoing program of nutrition, exercise, nutraceuticals and hormone therapy only when clinically indicated. Most members settle into monthly check-ins with the team and meet their physician in-center at least once a year. The FAQ puts the average at $14,000 to $21,000 a year.

Physician-supervised coaching is execution-first. In Executive Health Edge that means an 80+ biomarker panel at months 0, 6 and 12 with a written analysis and a 1:1 review after each, a WHOOP or Oura and a Withings scale provided, and one dedicated coach for twelve months who responds to every logged workout, sends a Monday analysis and a Friday check-in, and rebuilds the plan against daily data. Dr. Daniel Monlux, MD, the program physician, handles anything hormonal, pharmaceutical or lab-dependent by written handoff. The role is oversight, not a physician-led practice.

How to choose

  • You have never had a comprehensive workup and can afford imaging. Start with a diagnostics-first clinic such as Fountain Life.
  • You want a physician running your protocol, hormones included where indicated. That is Cenegenics’ model.
  • You already know what needs to change and have not changed it. That is a follow-through problem. A coached year with physician oversight is built for it.

Many men need the third one most. A clinic visit lasts a day or two. Body composition, lipids, glucose, VO2 max and sleep move over the other 360-odd days of the year.

Related questions

What is the main difference between Fountain Life and Cenegenics?

What they spend the money on. According to their websites as of October 2026, Fountain Life's memberships center on an annual round of advanced diagnostics at its centers: full-body and brain MRI, coronary CT angiography, a low-dose lung CT, whole genome sequencing, epigenetic age and a 100+ marker blood panel, with a longevity physician and care team. Cenegenics centers on an ongoing physician-led program: a 4 to 6 hour in-center assessment (DEXA, VO2 max, carotid testing), 270+ blood biomarkers monitored over time, nutrition, exercise, nutraceuticals and hormone therapy only if clinically indicated.

Where does physician-supervised coaching fit?

After the diagnosis. Neither model puts a coach on your training, food, sleep and alcohol every day. Executive Health Edge does: one dedicated coach for twelve months reads WHOOP or Oura and Withings scale data daily, responds to every logged workout, and rebuilds the plan weekly. An 80+ biomarker panel at months 0, 6 and 12 grades the work, and the program physician handles anything hormonal, pharmaceutical or lab-dependent by written handoff.

Which is most expensive?

Cenegenics' own FAQ, as of October 2026, puts its program at an average of $14,000 to $21,000 a year. Fountain Life does not publish membership prices. Executive Health Edge does not publish pricing either; it is scoped to the individual and given on the strategy call with one of our advisors.

Which one prescribes hormones or TRT?

Cenegenics offers hormone therapy within its program and says it is used only when clinically indicated. Fountain Life offers restorative therapeutics, some limited to its top tier and its Naples, Florida center. Executive Health Edge coaches never touch hormones or medication; those questions go to the program physician, Dr. Daniel Monlux, MD, and the default is to exhaust training, nutrition, sleep and body-composition levers first.

Do I have to travel?

For Fountain Life and Cenegenics, yes, at least once a year. Fountain Life's diagnostics are delivered at its centers. Cenegenics' assessment is in-center and its FAQ says every member meets their physician in-center at least annually; much of the rest can be remote. Executive Health Edge is fully remote nationwide, with lab draws arranged near you.

Can I combine them?

Yes, and it is a sensible order for some men. A clinic's imaging tells you what is there. A coached year changes what you do about it. Bring any clinic results to the strategy call; the program still draws its own month 0 panel so all three draws in the year compare cleanly.
