What is a Health Quotient Score?

What a Health Quotient Score is, how it is produced from a biometric screening and a health risk assessment, why a single composite number is useful alongside a full biomarker panel, and how Executive Health Edge uses it at month 0, 6, and 12.

Short answer

A Health Quotient Score is a single composite number, produced from a biometric screening and a structured health risk assessment alongside a blood panel, that rolls body composition, blood pressure, lifestyle risk factors, and key lab markers into one figure so progress can be compared on one number.

Month 6 and month 12 can be compared against month 0 on one number as well as marker by marker. Executive Health Edge produces one with each of its three panels.

One number, three times a year

A 75+ biomarker panel is the right tool for deciding what to change. It is a poor tool for answering β€œis the whole thing working?” because seventy-five markers move in different directions and a man reading them alone will fixate on the two that went the wrong way.

The Health Quotient Score answers the second question. It is produced alongside each Executive Health Edge panel at month 0, 6, and 12 from a biometric screening (body composition, blood pressure, physical measurements) and a structured health risk assessment, combined with key lab markers into one composite figure.

What it is good for

Direction. Month 6 against month 0 on one number, before the marker-by-marker review.

Conversation. A client, a coach, and a physician can talk about one figure and then drill into the markers behind it.

Motivation without hype. It is not a promise or a ranking. It is a measured composite of your own risk factors, and it moves when the inputs move.

What it is not good for

Diagnosis. It does not replace the panel, the physician, or your own doctor. In the program it is presented as coaching information, and anything the underlying markers flag is routed to the program physician by written handoff.

How it fits the rest of the data

The wearable manages the days. The scale triggers the macro changes. The blood panel sets and resets the targets. The Health Quotient Score tells you, on one number, whether six months of all three moved you in the right direction.

This page is coaching information, not medical advice. Questions about medication, hormones, or peptides go to the program physician.

Related questions

Is a Health Quotient Score a medical diagnosis?

No. It is a composite of measured risk factors, useful for tracking direction over time. It does not diagnose anything, and in Executive Health Edge it is presented as coaching information, not medical advice. Anything the underlying panel flags goes to the program physician.

How is it different from biological age?

Biological age estimates how old your body is behaving compared with your calendar age, usually from blood markers. The Health Quotient Score is broader: it combines the biometric screening, the risk assessment, and lab markers into one figure. Executive Health Edge reports both after each panel.

Why use one number when I have 75+ markers?

Because a single number is easier to move than seventy-five and harder to argue with. The markers tell you what to change. The composite tells you whether the whole picture is heading the right way across a six-month retest.

What is in the biometric screening?

Body composition from the Withings scale, blood pressure, and the physical measurements that feed the risk assessment, captured under the same conditions at each of the three panels.

Can I improve my Health Quotient Score?

It moves with the things the program coaches: body composition, blood pressure, glucose regulation, lipids, sleep, alcohol, and activity. Clients see it change between month 0 and month 6 because those inputs change.

Start with a call.

Forty-five minutes with an advisor: where you are, what the data would show, which coach fits, and whether the program is right for you. If it is not, you will be told.
